The SOB M1™ is a modular armored defensive position engineered to stop high-powered rifle rounds while maintaining rapid deployment capability. Designed for law enforcement and tactical operations, this system prioritizes mobility and quick assembly without compromising ballistic protection.
The system comprises four core components: one chassis, one viewport panel, two central armor panels, and four optional side armor panels. A proprietary fastening system ensures secure assembly with zero tools required—a trained operator can fully assemble the unit in 60 seconds or less, with no loose fasteners to manage. Four retractable side panels ("wings") extend instantly for enhanced frontal coverage or retract for lateral protection and doorway passage.
The upper wings feature integrated carry handles, allowing them to function as independent hand-carry shields. A hinged toe plate defends feet and ankles against skip rounds. All viewport and bolt faces meet the same Level IV ballistic rating as the surrounding armor. Eight-inch solid double wheels with 360° independent steering provide exceptional maneuverability.
Wheels are tested to remain fully functional after direct gunfire. When not in use, center and viewport panels nest inside the chassis, while side panels store in a dedicated rolling case for compact transport and storage.
